--Ahead-Of-The-Game--
The BMW Intelligent Car, 2018 model X6 M, priced at 105K, is already capable of doing quadratic equations and composing short, simple essays in German, which makes it currently, the smartest car on Earth, if only temporarily.

The California DMV, in conjunction with the California State Board Of Education, has announced that starting in 2025, ALL intelligent cars sold in the state must pass at least high school level Algebra I, or be barred from registration in the state.

A writing requirement will be added by 2027, and higher mathematic abilities will be mandatory in later years. Eventually, autos with verbal programs along the lines of Amazon's famous Alexa will be required to be Bi-lingual in Spanish or French in addition to English.

An unnamed State Education official  explained, "Cars are getting so intelligent now, higher requirements are a no-brainer. I mean, we rely on test scores and such to grade our state's students and schools, so requiring our motor vehicles to achieve at a higher level just makes sense. There will be no place for stupid, illiterate motor vehicles in California's future."

Manufacturers are expected to release a literal flood of increasingly "Intelligent" automobiles in the coming few years.
